Put Numbers Up to 30 in Order

Learn to arrange numbers from smallest to biggest like a math detective!

What Does It Mean to Put Numbers in Order?

Putting numbers in order means arranging them from smallest to biggest (or biggest to smallest).
Just like lining up your toys from smallest to biggest, we can do the same with numbers! When we count, we're already putting numbers in order: 1, 2, 3, and so on. Let's practice this with numbers all the way up to 30!

How to Put Numbers in Order

1️⃣ Look at the numbers - Find the smallest one first

2️⃣ Find the next number - What comes right after?

3️⃣ Keep going - Continue until all numbers are in line!

Let's Practice Together!

Parent Tips 🌟

  • Make it a game: Create a number line on the floor with chalk or tape and have your child hop from number to number in order.
  • Use everyday objects: Line up toys, books, or snacks and label them with numbers to practice ordering.
  • Sing counting songs: Songs that count up to 30 help reinforce number sequence in a fun, memorable way.
